Welcome!
Hello and welcome to the Developing Software in J2EE blog.
I have a couple of reasons for starting this blog.
The first reason, is I need some place to put my own personal notes on development. I’ve noticed over the last year or so that I’m starting to go back and have to research something that I’ve already researched and forgotten! That can be very frustrating. So I’m going to start blogging things of that nature.
The second reason is you! I’m going to put in this blog a lot of the things that I have learned over the years in regards to creating a team oriented development environment on the cheap. Nearly every company I work for, wants software development to be done basically for free. So, this blog will show you how to put together a development environment for pretty much nothing.
So please feel free to “steal” anything you find valuable in the blog and if you think you know of a better way of doing it? Feel free to comment! A great portion of the information on this site I’ve learned by researching on the Internet and coming up with the ideas for doing it on my own so your input could be just as valuable to me as mine is to you!
